Pendant

Description

A pendant and bead necklace constructed from graduated amber beads, interspersed with silver spacers, terminating in a rigid crescent-form pendant. The silver element is built as a curved plate engraved with geometric pattern, centred on a raised boss of applied floral elements. The crescent terminates at each shoulder in a domed finial. Suspended drops define the lower edge, each terminating in small globular elements that extend the form downward. A central pendant element descends from the midpoint, completing the vertical axis.

Context

Harari jewellery combines organic material and worked silver within fixed compositional frameworks. Here, bead, plate, and suspension elements are held in direct relation, integrating weight, movement, and structure into a single worn form.
